The AIANY Interiors Committee is pleased to announce the first event in the two-part virtual “Speed Presentations Edition 11,” showcasing outstanding interior design spaces by New York City-based architects. Five architects will present their best interiors projects in quick-fire, six-minute intervals, allowing us to explore a wide range of projects in a short time frame.
The theme of this edition, “Looking Back to Look Forward,” calls for interior projects which, through renovation, adaptive re-use, or some other intervention, make significant contributions to the host building itself, the neighborhood it serves, or the city in general through design, program, service, or other strategies. Projects may be of any type or scale and may be public or private; however they should be predominantly about the design of interior spaces. Examples include, but are not limited to, adaptive reuse, renovation, or redevelopment projects that examine the past to inform the new.

Laura Heim Architect – Heim Studio
