RPA Virtual Assembly

In response to the COVID-19 crisis, Regional Plan Association’s annual Assembly is going virtual. RPA will be hosting a series of free online panels in May and June addressing the immediate and long-term effects of COVID-19 on the region’s health, economy, and infrastructure. RPA kicked off the virtual Assembly on May 18th with “Confronting COVID-19 in Our Communities.” COVID-19 has affected everyone across the world, but in unequal ways. The pandemic has exacerbated existing equity issues and dramatically impacted the lives of millions. On Wednesday, May 20th, RPA will bring together organizations from Chicago, Los Angeles, New York City, and Pittsburgh to discuss these equity issues, what the day-to-day response work looks like and what we – individuals, civic groups, institutions, corporations and more – can do to help.
