Live webinar taking place simultaneously in both New York and London.

Because of the crisis, retail faces enormous uncertainty that is likely to accelerate market trends already challenging neighborhood high streets. Small and immigrant-owned businesses found in neighborhoods hardest-hit by the pandemic are also often those least able to access economic relief. In order to remain solvent and reopen safely, local businesses will require public leadership around financial assistance and design solutions that maintain social distancing. London and New York will come together around these pressing questions, sharing examples and discussing current challenges.

The live webinar will take place simultaneously in both cities and begin promptly at 09:00 in New York and 14:00 in London. This event forms a key part of the NLA City Dialogues programme, which brings together speakers and audiences to foster cross-city dialogue and learning between cities.
