Members of the New Practices New York: Pause jury and the AIANY New Practices Committee will announce the firms recognized as 2020 winners of the biannual competition!

The competition brief called for submissions from firms that consider themselves innovative practices, that offer a point a view, and that are unafraid to carve out their own creative voice. Firms should display a diverse array of answers to the question of how emerging architecture practices define themselves and what they aspire to contribute. The winning portfolios will contain design ideas, implemented or not, that offer new modes of thinking, create opportunities for thoughtful architecture, and demonstrate agency for designers in NYC.  

This event is free and open to the public.

6:00-6:15 PM – Gathering
6:15-7:00 PM – Winners’ Announcement and Juror Discussion
7:00-8:00 PM – Reception
