Please join the Women in Architecture Committee for a discussion surrounding gender equity in the workplace. The conversation on gender equity involves everyone. Change cannot happen if it is only women talking to women about women. Men in architecture and allied industries need to be engaged in the gender equity conversation and be part of the initiative to create better leaders, to enable impact, and to support an equitable decision-making process in the workplace. Sustainable change requires men to become allies, and it is time for men to close this “allyship gap” and move from intention to thoughtful action. We will be joined by a panel of men and women leaders in the field to identify strategies on how to create parity and demonstrate a business case for equity.
