This social gathering takes place during the National Organization of Minority Architects (NOMA) National Conference, bringing together speakers from the Global Grassroots seminar and the general public for an evening of connecting, conversation, and congratulations!

Black Females in Architecture (BFA) co-founders Alisha Morenike Fisher and Neba Sere will be joined by BFA International Advisor Danei Cesario, who serves as co-chair of the AIANY Diversity and Inclusion Committee, founder of WALLEN + daub and a Senior Associate at a New York-based firm. Filmmaker, writer, and advocate Sarah Akigbogun of female architects of color will also be in attendance. As a highlight of the evening, the Recipient of WALLEN + daub’s Inaugural ERNA Grant will be announced at the gathering.

Meet & Greets are a wonderful opportunity for industry professionals, students, BFA members, and supporters to meet, be inspired by each other, and discuss topics of interests. The Global Grassroots initiatives that these women have launched have already built an international community of over 400 members and counting. They aim to thrive nationally and globally and increase representation within the creative industries, and in so doing, widely improve diversity.
