Nasr Sheta, Ph.D., P.E. (NY, NJ, DE)

Commissioner at the Board of Standards and Appeals – City of New York Dr. Shera has more than 30 years of experience in civil, structural and geotechnical engineering including construction industry, teaching and research. Dr. Sheta’s professional experience varied in areas of subsurface investigation, foundation design, ground improvement, earth retention, seismic hazards, groundwater control, geotechnical and structural Geld inspections, laboratory testing and field testing, and structural analysis and design of reinforced concrete and structural steel. Dr. Sheta managed and provided geotechnical and structural engineering services for various projects in US and overseas.
