Join the Center for Architecture’s Lead Design Educator Tim Hayduk for a free family program exploring the architecture of the Queens Theatre using our new Urban Explorer activity guide. Families will learn about the theatre’s history as part of the NY State Pavilion for the 1964 World’s Fair, and explore its new lobby through sketching and scavenger hunt activities.
Sessions at 12 – 12:45 pm or 2 – 2:45 pm
These sessions are timed to work in tandem with the Queens Theatre’s family series productions of Charlotte’s Web at 1 pm and 3 pm. Buy your tickets to Charlotte’s Web via this link.
If you have any questions, please email k12education@centerforarchitecture.org.
The NYC Urban Explorer series and related programming has been made possible by generous donations from Deutsche Bank Americas Foundation.
