A Program Hosted by ASCE Diversity & Inclusion.
This improv training will use a foundation of social psychology, behavioral economics, and evidence-based neuroscience to foster better communication and teambuilding, both which have proven to be valuable in the business environment. The concepts that will be covered include: microaggressions, nonviolent communication, bridging the gender divide, coaching and conflict management.
Experience the ‘improv’ culture with dynamic host Nancy Watt and dive into an untapped source of creativity, authenticity, cohesion and collaborative learning.
Just a few of the important takeaways:
– Understanding how we communicate
– Learning how we are perceived
– Teaching ourselves to respond rather than react
Being inherently positive and collaborative, ‘improv’ brings connection and insight. The “yes, and” approach to work, family and life allows for greater possibilities and open communication.
