Architecture’s impact on the social and psychological well-being of humans has been recognized. However, full integration of insights from the social sciences into every architectural practice has not been implemented.

This panel will showcase exemplary projects which demonstrate the power of embedding social science research in design. The tools, technologies and teams behind these exceptional projects will enable a conversation of how social science can shape constant improvement in our built environment. We will explore how quantitative and qualitative tools are being deployed to integrate the role of the social sciences into the practice of architecture.

Speakers:
Adrian Turcato, Senior Associate, Transsolar
Danil Nagy, Product Innovation Manager, Silverstein Properties
Stephanie Park, Senior Lead Strategist, WeWork
Arlene Ducao, CEO, Multimer, Principal, The DuKode Studio

Moderator:
Melissa Marsh, Founder & Executive Director, PLASTARC and Senior Managing Director, Savills Studley
