Located on the edge of the Brooklyn Heights Historic District, 100 Clinton Street is a two-story glazed brick and terracotta building. Built in 1923, it was subsequently purchased by Packer Collegiate Institute to convert to a 15,000-square-foot Early Learning Center. Dedicated to providing students with an optimal learning environment, the project integrates Passive House standards with adaptive reuse. While the main facades were restored, the interior structure was fully re-built as pre-K and kindergarten classrooms, with an innovation lab, indoor and rooftop play areas, and the addition of a rooftop atelier.
