Join us for the opening of A Call to Act(ivism): Echoing Whitney Young, 50 Years LaterThe exhibition revisits Whitney M. Young Jr.’s keynote address at the 1968 AIA Conference, which questioned the lack of integration in the profession and led to a half-century crusade towards increased diversity and social responsibility in architecture. Organized by the AIANY Diversity and Inclusion Committee, the exhibition will explore current data about the profession and highlight efforts to expand opportunities. Curated by Danei Cesario, AIA, committee co-chair.
