Summer Solstice Aperitivo at Vitra

Raise a toast to summer solstice with Vitra and Skyline Design!

Whether you’re local or visiting NYC for the AIA National Conference, Vitra and Skyline Design invite you to celebrate the longest day of the year with an aperitivo at the Vitra showroom, opposite the Whitney Museum. Swiss design manufacturer Vitra will feature the exhibit “The original comes from Vitra,” which showcases the stories behind contemporary and iconic Vitra designers —including Eero Saarinen, Charles Eames, and Jean Prouvé — through the lens of new product and archival content. Skyline Design will display a selection of luminous architectural decorative glass to complement Vitra’s timeless objects in its sun-filled showroom, overlooking the Hudson River.
