Join the AIANY Technology Committee for an introduction and overview of Unmanned Aerial Systems (UAS). We will learn about the past, present, and future of drones as a projected $125B industry in the coming decades, focusing on the potential of automated workforces, the varying levels of technology already within reach, and the philosophical implications of automated workforces and flying robot neighbors. Topics for discussion include current industries that utilize drones, emerging technologies within these specific industries, and how drones are applicable to the A/E/C industry.

Speaker: Pablo Marvel, Co-founder, Nova Concepts

Pablo Marvel graduated from Dartmouth College with a degree in Art History, with a focus on Architecture. Upon graduating he co-founded Nova Concepts, an advanced visualization agency focusing on new technology in architecture and development. Shortly after discovering the potential of drones as an industrial tool, his team founded Vertify Analytics, which combines drones and 360 imaging with software for façade inspection and construction analytics. With a passion for discovery and interest in emerging industries, he is currently focusing on how these new technologies can have the highest impact as tools of the future within the architecture, engineering, and construction communities.
