This hands-on ArchiCAD introductory course presents basic Building Information Modeling (BIM) and BIM collaboration concepts. At the conclusion of the course, attendees will understand 3D modeling and the strategies needed for successful adoption of a streamlined BIM workflow.

Topics covered in the 6.5-hour training include:
1.  How to adopt a streamlined BIM workflow
2.  Basic 3D modeling techniques
3.  Different modes of collaboration across the AEC disciplines and how to create document deliverables
4.  How to utilize the BIM Server, which allows instant group collaboration within a single project

Class size is limited to 8 students. Each participant will be seated at a computer and will follow along using the ArchiCAD software. There will be a 60-minute lunch break and two coffee breaks.
