Hear from key members of the Roy and Diana Vagelos Education Center’s project team as they discuss the importance of collaboration, the intersection of space and technology, and how architecture can shape the future of education.

The Roy and Diana Vagelos Education Center, the 2017 AIANY Design Awards Best in Competition winner, is the newest addition to Columbia University Medical Center’s campus, is a state-of-the-art medical and graduate education building. The building, designed by Diller Scofidio + Renfro, in collaboration with Gensler, is a 100,000-square-foot, 14-story glass tower that incorporates technologically-advanced classrooms, collaboration spaces, and a modern simulation center to reflect how medicine is taught, learned, and practiced in the 21st century.
