Jonathan Segal FAIA & Development Company has been responsible for the design and development of over 300 medium to high-density urban residential, mixed use, and live/work units totaling over 300,000 square feet of construction. Jonathan Segal is considered one of downtown San Diego’s most successful and pioneering residential architectural/development companies and has a reputation for providing superior housing at a lower cost than comparable properties. Their focus is exclusively on urban projects, ranging from 80 to 160 dwelling units per acre. Tamarkin Co. develops classically modern, beautiful and distinctive buildings for the discerning buyer. Cary Tamarkin, a Harvard-trained architect, founded Tamarkin Co. in 1994 to pursue real estate development and complement his separate architectural practice, CT Architect, P.C. The Company has since created a portfolio of residential condominium buildings that have garnered acclaim for their timeless aesthetic and sensitivity to the urban context. Ranging from
challenging conversions of historic structures to carefully considered and beautifully crafted new buildings, Tamarkin Co. residences have established new benchmarks in both design and luxury. 140 Perry Street and 206 West 17th Street
set the standard for conversions of warehouses into luxury loft apartments. 495 West Street led the wave of new residential developments along the West Village waterfront and was the recipient of an American Institute of Architects
Honor Award. 47 East 91st Street is the first new residential building in Carnegie Hill to have been approved by the NYC Landmarks Preservation Commission in over 50 years. Tamarkin Co. recently completed the much-admired 397 West
12th Street and 456 West 19th Street. 508 West 24th Street is the most recent building in this unparalleled body of work.
