AIANY Architecture for Justice Committee April MeetingMeet James Austin: A Data Driven Strategist for American Justice  1. Meet the Strategic Initiative Director of the JFA Institute:Dr. James Austin is the President and the Strategic Initiative Director of the JFA Institute, who has been conducting criminal justice research for effective policy making for over 30 years.  His clients include Safety + Justice Challenge, Harry Frank Guggenheim Foundation, Public Welfare Foundation, as well as numerous state entities.  He will present to us “The Future of Crime and Corrections” after which we will have a dialogue.2. Upcoming Programs and Events

The committees of AIA New York are the foundations from which the Chapter positions itself in the field of architecture, whether through discussion, advocacy, policy making and development, event and exhibition planning, or other endeavors.

Committees meet monthly, usually at the Center for Architecture. AIA members, AIA associate members, and general public are all welcome to participate.
