About the Speaker:
As a highly accomplished marketing and sales professional of over 25 years, Wendy has employed her entrepreneurial mindset in every aspect of her career. She has worked at several renowned companies, including Swatch, Ziff-Davis, and the New York Times. As VP of Worldwide Advertising Sales for EarthWeb, Wendy played a crucial role as they became one of the first internet companies to launch a successful IPO. Wendy also launched and managed a national dessert company, quickly gaining distribution through leading food retailers, including Whole Foods, Trader Joe’s, and Walmart.

Wendy’s “special sauce” is her ability to strategically combine the technical and tactical elements of business with an eye toward positive well-being, relationship building, and effective communication. Her approach has proven especially effective with individuals specializing in creative industries who may not have traditional business experience. In addition, as a female who has had success in corporations and entrepreneurial endeavors, Wendy focuses on empowering women to reach their fullest potential.

With certifications in High-Performance and Mindset Coaching, Wendy guides clients in the art of effective business development and personal growth to achieve high-level, consistent success.

The committees of AIA New York are the foundations from which the Chapter positions itself in the field of architecture, whether through discussion, advocacy, policy making and development, event and exhibition planning, or other endeavors.

Committees meet monthly, usually at the Center for Architecture. AIA members, AIA associate members, and general public are all welcome to participate.
