Please join the #GasFreeNYC coalition, Alloy Development, AIA New York, and New York Passive House in support of Int. 2317, a city council bill banning fossil fuel hookups in new and retrofitted buildings. Limiting new fossil fuel hookups would reduce greenhouse gas emissions, improve air quality, and prevent gas leaks.

The event will be at 10:30am on Monday, September 13, outside of 100 Flatbush Avenue, which is Alloy’s fossil fuel–free tower in Brooklyn. Join us to support the elected officials and advocates asking the City Council and Speaker Johnson to pass the bill.

For more information on Int. 2317, you can read AIA New York’s statement of support. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to email Adam Roberts, AIANY Director of Policy, at aroberts@aiany.org.
