New York City faces a pivotal election in this June’s Democratic Primary, which will determine the outcomes of most races in our very Democratic city. Term limits are forcing most elected officials out of office, including council members, borough presidents, the comptroller, and the mayor.

We invite you to join us for a conversation with former HUD Secretary and OMB Director Shaun Donovan, one of the candidates running for Mayor of New York City. Donovan has been “Highly Rated” by the AIA New York Political Action Fund, the association’s political organization.

Our next mayor will be faced with addressing many critical architectural issues around housing, transportation, sustainability, and more. These and other topics will be addressed over the course of the conversation, with opportunities for questions from attendees. This event series consists of moderated conversations with “Highly Rated” candidates, to learn more about their visions for how they will address architecture in New York City over the coming years.
