How Can ESG Goals Help Motivate, Design, and Measure Zero Waste Operations in Buildings?

Join this panel to learn successful strategies for achieving zero waste operations in real estate.

Stakeholders such as investors, corporate leadership teams, tenants, employees, and community members are focused on how buildings impact environmental, social and governance (ESG) performance. Aligning ESG goals and zero waste design best practices is a great way to set a project up for long-term environmental success. But how do ESG goals relate to zero waste success and how does the design of a building contribute to the waste management and reduction goals of its occupant?

In this panel we will hear some great perspectives on how ESG goals, zero waste design, reporting, and ultimately certification can help businesses large and small meet their ESG targets (and even save some money too!)

Panelists:
Harry Etra, CEO, HXE Partners
Clare Miflin, Founder, Center for Zero Waste Design; Co-chair, AIANY Committee on the Environment
Ushma Pandya, Partner, Think Zero
Celeste McMickle, Director, TRUE USGBC
