In the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic sweeping New York, architecture firms are facing new hurdles to everyday work, as well as complex business management questions. There are many governmental and non-governmental resources available, but it is often difficult to understand which are right for a particular firm. Meanwhile, information about these opportunities, which can critically affect your firm and staff, is coming in faster than any individual can process.

As a result, AIANY is convening a small firm network on Tuesdays to touch base. Please join a conversation with small firm owners about firm management, thoughts on what reopening might be for your firm and community, and outlook for the AEC industry. This is not a formal program but an open discussion for participants to share information and get advice from their fellow firm owners.

Moderators:
Katherine Chia, FAIA, Founding Principal, Desai Chia Architecture
Kevin Gore, AIA, Principal, KCG Architects

If you have any questions you would like addressed on the call, it would be helpful to share them in advance either by noting in the “Topics” item when you register or by sending an email to Adam Roberts, Director of Policy, at aroberts@aiany.org. We’ll send the link for the virtual meeting to registrants in the morning before the event.
