K-12 Summer Program: Store Design (Grades 9-12)

Time: 9:30 am – 4:00 pm (Lunch Break: 12:00 pm – 1:30 pm) 

Dates: Monday, July 13 – Friday, July 17, 2020

Price: $650

In this design studio, students will combine the skills of an architect, curator, and brand designer to design their own permanent store or pop-up shop. Students will learn how designers create places that are both exciting and functional by taking inspiration from existing retail spaces and architecture offices specializing in store design. Using this inspiration and their own creativity, students will create their own designs for a storefront and store interior by making scale drawings and models.

Our 2020 Summer Programs REFUND POLICY is as follows: Families may request a refund of their program payment (minus a $25/program processing fee) prior to 5:00 pm (ET) three weeks before the program start date. All cancellations must be made by email to k12education@centerforarchitecture.org. There will be no refunds for cancellations less than three weeks prior to the program start date. Refunds or make-ups will not be provided for days missed due to illness, scheduling conflicts, emergencies or other reasons. If the Center for Architecture is forced to cancel a program, families will receive a full refund of their payment for that program.
