The Green New Deal – What Building Owners and Developers Need to Know

Spacesmith and Davis Brody Bond will co-host an informative presentation and discussion on New York City’s Local Law 97, the most ambitious climate legislation for buildings enacted by any city in the world. The “Green New Deal” will affect 50,000 buildings, and places them on a path to meet the city’s goal to reduce carbon emissions 80 percent by 2050.

Our guest speaker will be John Mandyck, CEO of Urban Green Council, a New York City-based non-profit dedicated to transforming buildings for a sustainable future. Urban Green Council played a major role in creating the new legislation and continues to be a significant player in its implementation.
