AIANY Planning & Urban Design Committee Future Streets Launchpad

Join the AIANY Planning and Urban Design Committee for an all day workshop as part of New York City’s Car Free Earth Day. The Committee’s installation, Future Streets, will provide an opportunity to explore how Manhattan’s streets may work in the future. While city streets include large amounts of public land, many of our streets today privilege the private automobile. As new transportation modes are introduced, there is a potential for new, more efficient, more valuable and more equitable configuration models for this public land.
