Please join us for a discussion about the US Pavilion at the 2016 Venice Architecture Biennale with co-curators Cynthia Davidson and Monica Ponce de Leon, AIA.
The Architectural Imagination is described as “an exhibition of new speculative architectural projects designed for specific sites in Detroit but with far-reaching applications for cities around the world.” It was on view at the 2016 Venice Architecture Biennale from May 28 – November 27, 2016.
Cynthia Davidson and Monica Ponce de Leon will be joined in conversation by Marshall Brown who designed a speculative proposal for a site along the Dequindre Cut in the Eastern Market neighborhood of Detroit, one of the 12 proposals shown in the US Pavilion’s 2016 Venice Architecture Biennale exhibition, The Architectural Imagination.
