Join Claudia Nahson, Alex Knezo, and the AIANY Interiors Committee for a private tour of the Jewish Museum’s Pierre Chareau: Modern Architecture and Design, the first US exhibition dedicated to the work of the avant-garde French architect and designer. Chareau was a pivotal figure in Modernism and renowned for his seminal work the Maison de Verre.

Equally notable is the technology and exhibition design by the architecture studio Diller Scofidio + Renfro (DS+R). Through the use of various forms of technologies such as virtual reality, video projections, and digital installations, DS+R has created several environments within the exhibition that contextualize the various works of Chareau that are showcased.

Speakers:
Alex Knezo, Designer, Diller Scofidio + Renfro
Claudia Nahson, Morris and Eva Feld Curator, Jewish Museum
