RPA Virtual Assembly

In response to the COVID-19 crisis, Regional Plan Association’s annual Assembly is going virtual. RPA will be hosting a series of free online panels in May and June addressing the immediate and long-term effects of COVID-19 on the region’s health, economy, and infrastructure. On June 25th, RPA will host, “What Comes Next? The Future of Housing, Neighborhoods & Urban Living.” We are gearing up for unprecedented changes to our region in the wake of COVID-19. Landlord/tenant dynamics are shifting. Sharp changes in short-term letting, unemployment and transportation have rendered housing markets unpredictable, and new questions about how to live safe and healthy lives in crowded urban areas are being asked. What are going to be the large structural changes in housing that result from the pandemic?
