In a high-density, vertical cities, building design plays a large role in reducing waste. Architects in New York City led the development of the Zero Waste Design Guidelines for new and existing buildings to help the city reduce waste. Now leaders in sustainable design from Hong Kong, Singapore, and NYC are collaborating to share design strategies, case studies, and policy suggestions that can help high-density cities reach zero waste goals.
