Join Metropolis and Stonehill Taylor for a Think Tank discussion on Hotel Design in the Urban Context.

Urban environments, with the diversity of cultures they cater to and represent, pose exciting challenges that push designers—and hotel brands—to step outside the predictable formulas in hospitality. What does it take to introduce a new destination into the urban context? This panel, made up of three experts in hospitality, will discuss three distinct approaches to place-making in the urban context. The audience will hear insights on the creation of urban hotels of vastly different models and programming: micro hotels, mid-level/ boutiques, and luxury properties.

Panelists:
Paul Taylor, President, Stonehill Taylor
Christina Zimmer, Senior Vice President of Design, Highgate Hotels
Chris Baxter, Senior Vice President of Hospitality, Lightstone

Schedule:
