“Connecticut Grown: Functional & Beautiful Solutions for Designers” will explore topics surrounding Connecticut-bred native plants and trees, invasive plants and insects, plant diseases, and include a site tour of the nursery (only large-scale field grower in Connecticut) with training on cultural practices and evaluating nursery stock in the field to meet an architect’s project goals. Modules will include Connecticut-Grown Trees: A Walk & Talk, Connecticut-Bred Plants, Important Diseases of Connecticut Landscapes, and Connecticut Plants, Connecticut Wildlife.
