K-12 Summer Program: House of the Future (Grades 3-5)

Time: 9:00 am – 4:00 pm

Dates: Monday, August 5 – Friday, August 9, 2019

Price: $650

Students in this program will investigate how housing has changed over the years and what’s in store for the future. The group will visit a historic home in NYC for a window into how people lived in the past, explore advancements in green architecture today, and speculate about what elements will be most changed in the future. For their final project, students will design and build their own models of a house of the future.

Our Summer Programs REFUND POLICY is as follows: cancellations received by April 30th will receive a refund of 50% of the total registration fee. Cancellations received on or after May 1st will receive no refund. There are no exceptions to this policy. The Center for Architecture will not provide make-ups or refunds for days missed as a result of vacation plans, scheduling conflicts, illness, emergencies, or other events beyond our control.
