A panel of experts will present and discuss solutions to common building envelope design flaws in multifamily and commercial buildings. They will address the considerable challenges faced by architects as they strive to translate building enclosure design concepts into realities that are energy-efficient, durable, trouble-free, and cost effective.

This program is the first half of a two-part series that will examine the critical role of enclosures in relation to building performance. By focusing on topics within technology and building science, the speakers will present examples and experiences that touch on the concepts of design vs constructibility; correct application of materials and products; air tightness; and thermal bridging solutions.
