After-School: Digital Design: Store Design (Grades 6-8)

Time: 3:30 – 5:00 pm

Dates: Wednesdays – January 16, January 23, January 30, February 6, February 13, February 27, March 6, March 13.

Please note: the program will not meet on February 20

Price: $350

This 8-week after-school program introduces middle school students to SketchUp, a fun and free 3D computer modeling program. How do we design a store that is appealing and meets the needs of the shoppers? Whether it’s a skateboard shop, café/restaurant, or fashion center, you’ll have fun creating your own digital design of a storefront and store interior. Students will create an animated walk-through of their final project and take their design home with them on a flash drive.
