Integrating DERs into Building and Campus-Scale Projects
NYC’s energy landscape is changing and the development of Distributed Energy Resources (DERs) are critical to meeting our climate and resilience goals at the urban scale.
How can architects and engineers navigate the changes in energy generation, delivery, and storage in their projects in order to achieve emissions reductions and gain greater resilience via DERs?
This event will feature panel discussions and case studies to provide a comprehensive look at the intersection between NYC’s climate goals, the latest DER technologies, and the built environment.
Speakers: Tom Bourgeois, Deputy Director, Pace University Alexan Stulc & Anne Shellum, BuroHappold Engineering Ed Bricker, PE, Engineering Manager, The Durst Organization Jennifer Kearney, Founder, Gotham 360 Devin Ratliff, Director, KPF Ung Joo Scott Lee, Principal, Morphosis Architects Brian Burke, Director, Energy Engineering, NYU
As a reminder, AIA National policy requires participants to attend the entire educational portion of an event to receive continuing education credits. We encourage all participants to arrive on time to comply with this policy.
