Morning Session: 11am to 1pm

To register for the afternoon session (2pm to 4pm) please click here.

Families will explore the Center for Architecture’s exhibition, Designing Waste: Strategies for a Zero Waste City, to learn how architecture can affect the way we manage and think about garbage in our cities. Participants will then work to design a sustainable invention for a zero waste city. Inspired by the Center’s zero waste initiatives, families will be challenged to create something beautiful from materials that may have otherwise ended up in the landfill.

Family Day Programs are designed for children ages 5-13 accompanied by an adult.
