Host a summer intern at no cost to your firm. Come to the NYC CTE Industry Scholars Program Information Session, hosted by Grant Associates, AIA New York, and the Center for Architecture.

Refreshments will be served.

This program is being driven by the Department of Education, the Mayor’s Office, and the Partnership for NYC. It involves students enrolled in Career and Technical Education (CTE) High Schools around the city who are interested in exploring careers in architecture and engineering. These promising students go through rigorous technical education and possess personal motivation that set them apart. Students take industry-specific courses, gain recognized skills and certifications, and demonstrate genuine interest, passion, and dedication through their specialization. Throughout the internship program, students will also be provided with ongoing support, including skills and job readiness training, to ensure their success.

Summer 2017 results include:

  • 600 internships developed with over 200 employers
  • 96% employer re-engagement request rate
  • 90% job readiness at the entry level
